PSG Ocean was retained by Kerr Wood Leidal to undertake a peer review of a flood assessment prepared to support a proposed development located within a tsunami hazard zone. The development, proposed by the Economic Restoration Infrastructure Fund, includes a mix of multi-family residential, single-family residential, and commercial uses.

The scope of work included:

  • Independent review of flood hazard and risk assessment methodologies and assumptions
  • Evaluation of proposed mitigation measures and their alignment with applicable guidelines

The assessment report was accepted by the District of Ucluelet.
